作品を観て美しいと感じる先に、誰もが心の中に持つ風景に寄り添うような作品を作りたいと、自然で素朴な色合いのグラデーションをまとった炭化焼成で作られる柔らかな曲線で構成された器やオブジェなど形あるものを「心象」と名付ける打田翠。
印象に残った風景を自身の心象として絵画に抽象化させ、現在は IT技術を使い、一枚の絵画にその時間的変化を投影させることで、時間軸を加えた新たな三次元の表現を試みている木梨銀士。
若い二人の作家が作り出す優しく情緒的な景色を季節や色彩など共通のテーマのもとで協調あるいは対峙をさせ、茶の湯の世界観の中での展開を楽しむことを試みる。

Shinsho : Landscapes in mind / Ginji Kinashi, Midori Uchida
The objects and pottery, which Midori Uchida refers to as “Shinsho : Landscapes in mind”, go beyond mere visual appeal. The technique of carbonised firing creates organic gradient objects that are rustic in nature. The soft curves embodied by these objects closely evoke familiar landscapes, imprinted in our minds.
Ginji Kinashi has been depicting landscapes that have left an impression on him, imprinting them in his mind as he interprets the world around us. Most recently, for each of his landscape paintings, he has been projecting videos capturing the evolution of his painting onto the physical paintings themselves, creating a three dimensional experience that transcends the concept of time.
The soft, emotive landscapes created by these two young artists can be experienced as part of the Japanese tea ceremony as they collaborate, or perhaps confront each other in their exploration of the shared themes, colours and season.
